The Ground is located within a small housing estate, whilst travelling up the Chester - le - Street to Stanley road a set of traffic lights are reached (1/2 a mile after the Beamish museum turn off, at the top of the hill) turn right here carry on for 200 yards a sign post the advertises the ground. Turn left into the Housing estate and follow the signs.

Belmont CC
Belmont play their home games at the recreation ground. From the A1 durham junction follow the A690 towards Durham city, take the first junction reached and turn left, follow this road straight over the traffic lights and upvto the mini roundabout, turn right here, past Bannatynes gym and the first turn on the right (opposite B & Q) povides access to the ground.

From Spennymoor, take the Barnard Castle road then turn left to head to Kirk Merrington. Once in Kirk Merrington take the first right and follow this road for around three miles (passing through a village - Middlestone) further up this road before entering coundon the ground is on the right hand side, visable from the road.
The modern pavilion sits on a ground with amazing views over towards Teeside, the playing area is small and with a slight slope. It forms part of a larger recreation ground.

East Rainton CC - The Hazard Cricket Ground
Turning off the A690 (North Bound) at the Rainton Bridge turning, take the first exit on the roundabout. Then the third exit of the second roundabout. Follow this road for around 500 yards - the Dunwell's track is on the left hand side. South Bound take the Rainton Bridge A690 exit turn left and the ground is 500 yards down the hill on the right hand side.
East Rainton have played on this field since 1851, it is the least flat field in the league with more than a few bumps! The facilities are basic, with a small tea hut replacing the older wooden one.

Murton CC - The Welfare ground Murton
The old colliery welfare ground, stands in the centre of Murton village, with a its new pavilion it stands next to the football ground. Murton played in the original league in 1897 but haven't been a NEDCL since they won the league in 1923!

Seaham Harbour CC - New Drive
Seaham Harbour applied to the NEDCL in their 150th year. Their ground is very well appointed, with scorebox, nets, covers, bar and a large flat playing area.
The ground lies alongside the railway line through Seaham, at the end of the New Drive. SR7 7BX

Simonside CC - Oakleigh Gardens
Simonside play their home fixtures at Oakleigh gardens in Cleadon - from the centre of cleadon travel past the pub and petrol station. The ground is then in the houses on the right and side, taking the 5th right turn head over the cross roads the ground straight ahead through the large iron gates.
Oakleigh gardens is a small hedged field behind a housing estate. Once part of school fields it has a small pavilion on the opposite side of the road to the ground. Its a small ground but flat.

South Hetton CC - South Hetton Welfare Park
The Welfare park is located right at the heart of South Hetton village with the ground clearly viable from the A182 which runs through the village. The club is well equipped with a bar, football and cricket pitches plus a bowling green. It is an archetypal Colliery welfare sports ground.

Stanhope CC - Unthank Park, Stanhope Showfield
This has provided the hardest task for ERCC's travelling cricketers, with many frantic phone calls and lost players trying to find it. On entering Stanhope village, you travel directly through the village past the first junction, the first route is to cross stanhope ford (turning left) but this is often closed, so the visitor must travel on a further 200 yards then turn left through the farm, follow the road over the bridge and turn left. After a short drive the far end of stanhope ford is reached. Hear the ground is off to the left hand side - follow the road allong the river and the ground is infront of you. See its easy.

Upon entering Tantobie village, take the third left turn, past the bus garage, then up the hill, the ground is on the left (behind the allotments).
A small level field, surrounded by allotments and over looked by the village street, pub and chip shop. It has a modern pavilion cum community centre. The field was never quite this level until it was recently relayed!

Wearmouth play at one of the oldest cricket grounds in the north of England it is located on the north side of the city. From the queen alexandra bridge go straight over the roundabout, and then turn right at the church, a further right is taken 100 yards further on at the working mens club. Travel through the town centre over the speed bumps and past the tram car inn. After this a further mini roundabout is reached turn left and follow this road past the pub and the tower blocks. Once the Petrol filling station is reached the ground enterance is a short distance further on.
Wearmouths ground has an odd collection of buildings dotted around its edges, one of these is the bar, others are the changing room and score box. Its a leafy inner city ground, but overlooked by tower blocks... Flat and quite large if the full boundary is in use.
