Cups
The first cup final of the year took place at Kimblesworth CC with Burnhope and East Rainton second teams contesting the Norman Martin trophy in a close tie. With Burnhope Batting first reachin a competitive total of 168 for 9, which East Rainton reached in the final over with 7 wickets lost. In the presentation by league chairman Brian Barass the ,an of the match was awarded to Derrick Steinberg for figures of 6 for 58.
