Wearmouth came out victorious of a close tie with Burnhope, batting first Wearmouth made 228 for 9, with P Woodroffe scored 81. S Ahmed took 5 for 45 for Burnhope. Burnhope came close, being bowled out for 213, with R Omar scoring 93. C Philliskirk took 3 for 26.
Murton travelled to East Rainton and came home with 20 points. The home team batted first, making 96 all out, with S Archbold making 35 not out. K Chapman took 3 for 22 and T Watson 3 for 10. Murton lost 6 wickets in the chase with G Milne scoring 29, with J Messer taking 3 for 10.

Seaham Harbour slipped further from the top spot with a comprehensive loss to Belmont. Harbour batted first but were bowled out for 57. It was a team effort with the top scorer being C Marshall with 12. R Bancroft took 3 for 11 and A Wilson 4 for 11 for Belmont. After tea S Jackson scored 37 to seal a 9 wicket victory. With H Mashall taking the sole wicket for 10.
The final match saw the two bottom sides battle it out in a close game. However Murton took the 20 points. Tantobie batted first making 132 all out. With S English 36 and D Proud 35 being the top scorers. P Chaytor 3 for 24 and N Peel 3 for 6 did the damage for Murton. L Chaytor was the top scorer in Murtons innings with 57 not out and Murton squeezed by with 2 wickets in hand. This was despite the best efforts of S Fairish 3 for 20 and A Hunter 3 for 35.
