Burnhope beat Stanhope by 62 runs to gain their first victory of the campaign. R Omar hit 101 as they posted 250 all out, with S Muse 3 for 54 and G Dalton 3 for 56 took the wickets for Stanhope. Despite S Muse hitting 67, Stanhope were bowled out for 188, with R Omar taking 4 for 34.
Seaham Harbour maintained the top spot with a ten wicket victory over Wearmouth. Wearmouth batted first making 123 all out, P Woodruffe top scoring on 36, whilst N Corkhill 4 for 5 and G Davison 3 for 17 did the damage with the ball. In reply S Pattison scored 65 not out and M Marwood 59 not out. To see harbour home.
East Rainyon pulled away from the bottom with a 9 wicket victory over Beamish. Beamish batted first making 99 all out. C Lowes was the pick of the batsman with 22, whilst C Henderson jnr took 4 for 15. In reply N Matthews made 50 not out, whilst J Stafford took 1 for 30 for Beamish.
The final game saw Belmont go down to Murton by 7 wickets. Belmont batted first scoring 84 all out, with B Smith posting 27. G Martin took 5 for 25 for Murton. In reply C Milnthorpe took 2 for 26, but it wasnt enough, with J Greenfield 40 not out seeing Murton home.

The big winners today were top side Simonside, as they posted 309 for 2 against Burnhope. C Glancey scored 70, M Coxall 65 not out and R Henderson 142 not out. D Portrey was the pick of the Burnhope bowlers on 1 for 34. In reply hope were all out for 63, D Crozier top scoring on 12. Whilst both J Surtees and P Haynes taking 3 for 7.
Kibblesworth maintained pressure at the top by beating Tantobie by 8 wickets, Tantobie batted first making 97 all out, with S English scoring 32 and S Fairlish 34. Despite A Bush 3 for 9 and L Davison 4 for 24. In reply L Davison hit 46 not out, with N Whiteford taking 1 for 19.
East Rainton also maintained their unbeaten season, as they beat Beamish by 74 runs. Rainton batted first making 138 all out, with R Richardson scoring 52, whilst D Hogg took 5 for 26. D Hogg also top scoring with 23 not out, whilst J Bell took 2 for 13 for Rainton.
The final game saw Belmont beat Murton. Belmont made 129 for 8, with T Davison scoring 45. L Chayter taking 3 for 11. In reply S Norman made 21 byt it wasnt enough as Murton were all out for 71. With M Pennels 3 for 12 and J Lawson 3 for 8.

On Sunday East Rainton beat Kibblesworth in division 2. Kibblesworth batted first, A Bush top scored with 34. Whilst S Taylor took 4 for 17 and K Burrell 5 for 13 for Rainton. After tea Rainton reached 96 in the last over, with S Taylor making 79. The pick of the Kibblesworth bowlers were S McEnemay 3 for 23 and N Worthy 4 for 27.
