Beamish (200 for 7 declared) beat Stanhope (90 all out) by 110 runs.

In division 2 new champions Kimblesworth had a free weekend. Whilst at the other end of the table, Coundon resigned their second team due to a lack of players, hopefully they can return next year, this gave Burnhope twenty points. Kibblesworth amassed 245 for 6 declared at home to Beamish. With L Davison 147 and A Bush 50 making the majority. A Bush then took 7 for 4 as the visitors were bowled out for 24. Hunwick also won by a large margin, G Reed 86 and S Hill 77 helped them to 220 for 4, in reply Belmont were then bowled out for 96 runs. Simonside inflicted a heavy defeat on East Rainton, Rainton were bowled out for 127 runs. Simonside lost 3 wickets in passing the total. The final game saw Tantobie reach 68 all out, thanks to the best efforts of A Davison taking 6 for 23. Wearmouth passed the total for the loss of 5 wickets.
Kibblesworth (245 for 6 declared) beat Beamish (24 all out) by 221 runs.
Tantobie (68 all out) lost to Wearmouth (70 for 5) by 5 wckets.
Simonside (128 for 3) beat East Rainton (127 all out) by 7 wickets.
Belmont (96 all out) lost to Hunwick (220 for 4 declared) by 124 runs.
