In Division 2 Tantobie returned to winning ways beating Beamish's 95 thanks to 76 not out from A Awan, a good start for Tantobie in their new surroundings. Kibblesworth also had a good start at home to Hunwick with the away team reaching 72 and Kibblesworth winning by 4 wickets. Burnhope seconds also won, declaring on 229 with C Pither not out 120 and C Halliday 58 not out, whilst Belmont reached a respectable 187 in reply with thanks to P Cosford scoring 62. Whilst Kimblesworth seconds had a better start than the firsts, declaring on S Emerson scoring 113 and P Nixon gaining 42 runs. Wearmouth were bowled out for 97 thanks to a 5 for 5 by P Nixon. Finally Coundon seconds conceded at home to East Rainton and Simonside had their free weekend.
