Seaham harbour secured their unbeaten season with a win over bottom club Belmont. Awaiting full scorecard.
Second placed Murton also won, defeating Eadt Rainton by 80 runs, Murton batted first making 211 all out. L Thompson top scored with 53 not out. Whilst D Steinberg took 3 for 35 and J Messer 3 for 28. After tea J Holding was undefeated on 68, but it wasnt enough as Rainton were all out for 131, G Martin took 4 for 11.
Wearmouth secured a win against Burnhope in a close match, Wearmouth batted first making 176 all out. K Philliskirk top scored with 79, whilst M Steer took 4 for 24 for Burnhope. In reply Burnhope fell just short with 161 all out. L Shaw was the top scorer with 53 not out, with K Philliskirk taking the bulk of the wickets with 3 for 14.
Coundon's season took a turn for the worse and they finished second bottom after a 9 wicket loss to Beamish. They batted first making 104 all out. J Russell was the top scoring with 26, whilst G Shaw took 4 for 29 for Beamish. After tea G Craig was unbeaten on 63. M Howe took the sole wicket for 13.
The final division one game saw Stanhope defeated by South Hetton, by 6 wickets. Stanhope batted first, being bowled out for 62, S Campbell added 18 of the runs. M Took was the pick of the Hetton bowlers with 5 for 14. P Franks then top scored with 23, whilst A Robinson took 2 for 23 for Stanhope.
In division 2 Simonside completed the season with a win over Beamish. Beamish batted first making 112, with B Jowett the top scorer on 28, whilst J Surtees took 5 for 25. Sima then reached the total for the loss of 3 wickets. C Owen's was the top scorer with 38, whilst J Bell and A Metcalfe both took 1 for 18.
A high scoring game between Kibblesworth and Burnhope was won by the home side by 79 runs. Kibblesworth batted first making 218 for 9, with Both J Atkinson and J Allen scoring 27 in a team effort. J Lawson took 5 for 20 in reply. After tea T Humes made 39 as Burnhope fell short, being bowled out for 139. A Bush took 4 for 14 for Kibb.

On Sunday Burnhope and Kibblesworth met again in the final of the Amos Lowing/Wilson shield. Burnhope were the Victor's. Awaiting scorecard.
